Motor Supply Co. Bistro: Columbia, SC

For today’s brunch review, I am reviewing Motor Supply Co. Bistro in Columbia, South Carolina. Motor Supply is located in the Vista, a very popular area of the city. They offer brunch on Saturdays and Sundays until 2 PM. They are also open during the weekdays for lunch and dinner.
My Order:
Mimosa (champagne and orange juice)
S.E.C. Sandwich (house breakfast sausage, farm egg, cheddar, mustard aioli, caramelized onions, buttermilk biscuit, crispy potatoes)
Modifications: No sausage.

Sausage, egg, and cheese. No sausage.
Review:
I really enjoyed Sunday brunch at Motor Supply Co. Bistro. Motor Supply is located in the Vista district of downtown Columbia. They offer complimentary valet and there is lots of metered parking near the location.
The restaurant is tucked away on Gervais Street. It can be easy to miss so definitely keep an eye out.
At this time, Motor Supply requires reservations for brunch. There was no wait time once we arrived and we were sat at our table right away. Most of the tables were occupied, so they are definitely busy for Sunday brunch.
Motor Supply is a higher end brunch spot compared to others in Columbia so keep that in mind when it comes to price. Their brunch menu is small but it caters to a variety of eating preferences. However, they do not have any non-red meat options for breakfast meats. They only had bacon or sausage on the menu.
Our waitress was nice and our food came out relatively quickly for the amount of people that were there. I’m sure the chefs had a lot of orders! I ordered a traditional mimosa and the S.E.C. (sausage, egg, and cheese) Sandwich without the sausage.
The meal came with a side of potatoes and the sandwich bread was a biscuit. The biscuit was buttered and moist. The potatoes were perfectly crispy. Overall, the meal had great flavors and I would definitely eat it again!
I would recommend Motor Supply Co. for brunch!
